In this step-by-step, PRE-RECORDED Lasagne class, you will learn how to create delicious fresh pasta. Nonna Angela and Chiara will be there to guide you at your own pace. Lasagna is certainly the queen of Italian first courses. Its preparation requires a considerable amount of technique and time. At the regional level the Lasagna is claimed by the city of Bologna where it is considered the  typical dish per excellence.

How Does it Work?

  1. Upon checkout, you'll receive an email confirmation of your purchase and a prompt to create a login to our class platform called Teachable. You can access our class on teachable by clicking here. You'll also find a list of ingredients and utensils you will need to have for class.
  2. You may take the course as many times as you'd like, and go back and review any sections.
  3. Enjoy your pasta-making experience on-demand, any time that works for you!

Ingredients

Ingredients (2 people):

  •     1 cup of "00" grade flour, or all-purpose flour
  •     2 eggs -- better if organic 
  •     200 gr of mixed ground meat (pork / beef)
  •     quarter of an Onion
  •     1 stalk of celery
  •     1 carrot
  •     1 can of passata (ideally made from San Marzano tomatoes or by any other Italian brand)
  •     3 tbsp of parmigiano cheese
  •     1 glass of milk
  •     extra-virgin olive oil
  •     salt
  •     2 balls of fresh mozzarella cheese

Utensils:

  •     large wood cutting board (even a table!) -- countertop is fine too in case you don’t have other things
  •     wood rolling pin
  •     pasta rolling machine (optional)
  •     big knife with a flat blade - large cutting knife or a bread knife without serrated edge
  •     fork
  •     1 big pot
  •     1 medium pot
  •     strainer
  •     a natural fiber cloth to dry the pasta
  •     wooden spoon
  •     cutting board
  •     medium baking tray
  •     oven!
