This is our very first on-demand, PRE-RECORDED class with TikTok's Owen Han (@owen.han)! Owen is an Italian-Chinese chef and hails from Florida, where he learned how to cook. He is known for making delicious sandwiches and flavourful pastas, and we are so excited to collaborate on this pasta dish with him!

This is one of the most popular dishes in Italy, and Nonna Nerina's favourite dish. Every time she has a special guest, she loves to cook Tagliatelle with Mushrooms and Peas. The sweet taste of the peas match perfectly with the mushroom!

How Does it Work?

2. You will have 30 days from your time of purchase to log in to the Teachable website and take the course. You may take the course as many times as you'd like, and go back and review any sections.

Class Description and Details

  In this 2-hour experience, you’ll join us in the small town of Palombara Sabina. Nonna will invite you into her home, and we’ll share family traditions, stories, and create a delicious meal together using a recipe passed down through generations.  See below for our favorite wine pairing suggestion, should you be so inclined! Every class provides a meal to a child in need. One Class, One Meal.

Ingredients and Utensils

Ingredients (2 People):

  •  cup / 200 gr of "00" grade flour, or regular flour
  • 2 eggs (organic preferred)
  • 200 g fresh mushrooms
  • 200 g peas (frozen or fresh)
  • Grated Parmigiano Reggiano to taste
  • 150 g of guanciale (or pancetta)
  • 1 medium onion
  • Coarse salt
  • Fine salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Black pepper
Utensils:
  • 1 large wooden cutting board (or a clean countertop or table)
  • 2 large cutting knife or a bread knife with a smooth edge
  • 1 large pot
  • 1 large pan
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 wood rolling pin or pasta machine
  • 1 strainer
  • Natural fiber cloth to dry the pasta
