On the Menu: Maccheroni with Meatballs
Maccheroni with meatballs are part of the rich gastronomic tradition of the Italian region Abruzzo. The specific squared shape is obtained thanks to an actual Pasta Guitar! With the meatballs on top and a rich tomato sauce Maccheroni alla chitarra are so savory. Imagine that every Sunday morning all the women of the family gather to make the “pallotte”, meatballs, for the sauce.
