On the Menu: Spring Flowers, Farfalline, Cacio, Pepe and Peas 

Spring has come back to warm our days! In this class we want to bring all the color of the Italian countryside to you. We’re going to create a traditional cacio and pepe with tender peas and beautiful edible flowers: just a touch of spring!

In May, we celebrate our mothers and the renovation of Life. Let’s dedicate these colorful, delicious farfalline (small butterflies) to all of them.

Class Description and Details

We are offering this special 2-hour experience for one weekend only - Mother's Day weekend! For a truly memorable Mother's Day activity, join us in our home of Palombara Sabina — a small town outside of Rome — and we’ll share family traditions, stories, and create a delicious meal together using recipes passed down through generations. Once we've finished cooking, we'll enjoy a delicious plate of pasta together to celebrate our hard work and honor all the wonderful mother's in our lives!
Every class provides a meal to a child in need. One Class, One Meal.

Ingredients & Utensils

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup / 200 gr of "00" grade Flour, or all-purpose flour 
  • 2  eggs (organic preferred)
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen peas
  • ¼ onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup grated pecorino cheese
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup of edible flowers (replacement: 10 leaves of fresh Basil)

Utensils:

  • 1 large wooden cutting board (or a clean countertop or table)
  • 1 small cutting board
  • 1 large cutting knife or a bread knife with a smooth edge
  • 1 small pointed knife
  • 1 fork
  • 1 large pot
  • 1 medium pot
  • 1 strainer
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 rolling pin
  • Pasta machine (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Ravioli cutter wheel (optional)
