The Christmas log (Bûche de Noël) is a traditional French Christmas dessert that echoes in shape the wooden log. Like Mamie told us, this dessert is inspired by a tradition that people in France had back in the days: not having a lot of money, during winter the families would choose the biggest wooden log to burn in the fireplace keeping them all warm through the night. Gluttonous and refined, our log is the king of Christmas cakes par excellence.


How Does it Work?

1. Upon checkout, you'll receive an email confirmation of your purchase and a prompt to create a login to our class platform called Teachable.  You can access our class on teachable by clicking here. You'll also be sent a list of ingredients and utensils you will need to have for class.

2. You will have 30 days from your time of purchase to log in to the Teachable website and take the course. You may take the course as many times as you'd like, and go back and review any sections.

3. Enjoy your pasta-making experience on-demand, any time that works for you!

  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 70 g sugar
  • 70g sunflower oil
  • ½ lemon
  • 250 g mascarpone
  •  unsweetened cocoa powder
  • icy sugar
  • 200 g hazelnut
