Class Description and Details
In this 1.5-hour experience, you’ll join us in the small town of Palombara Sabina. Nonna will invite you into her home, and we’ll share family traditions, stories, and create a delicious meal together using a recipe passed down through generations. See below for our favorite wine pairing suggestion, should you be so inclined! Every class provides a meal to a child in need. One Class, One Meal.
Ingredients and Utensils
Ingredients for 2 people
- 1 cup / 200 gr of "00" grade Flour, or all-purpose flour
- 2 Eggs - Better if organic
- 10g of squid's ink
- 1 cup of ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp of Parmigiano
- 20 cherry tomatoes
- 10 strawberries
- 1 cup of tomatoes sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 5-6 leaves of basil
- fine salt
- coarse salt
Utensils List:
- Large wood cutting board (even a table!) -- countertop is fine if that's all you have
- 1 Small pan
- 1 Medium pot
- 1 Big pot
- 1 Small bowl
- 1 Medium bowl
- 1 Wooden spoon
- 1 Strainer
- 1 Round cutter or a glass
- 2 Teaspoon
- 2 Spoons
Pre-Class Prep
Grate the Parmigiano, cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and cut the strawberries into fourths.
Last, but definitely not least- bring an empty stomach and listen to our playlist!
