Ingredients and Utensils
Ingredients (2 People):
- 2 cups of passata
- 1 ½ cups or 250g of semolina flour
- 1 cup dried salty ricotta (use a pecorino as a replacement)
- 1 eggplant
- 1 garlic clove
- 10-12 leaves of fresh basil
- Extra virgin olive oil (enough to fry the eggplants)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 large wooden cutting board (or a clean countertop or table)
- 1 large cutting knife or a bread knife with a smooth edge
- “Ferretto” (or a long wood skewer)
- 1 fork
- 1 large pot
- 1 strainer
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 deep pan
- 1 casserole dish with a splash guard
- 1 soup plate
- 1 grater
- Scottex (to absorb the oil)
